George Hotz has just released an RC2 version of his popular blackra1n jailbreak tool. This has fixed a few known issues some people were having trying to run the tool ;
a) Fixes the problems during the execution of the program on the iphone 3g
b) Fixes Icy issues
c) Ability to run a tethered jailbreak on the new iphone 3gs fitted with the new bootrom
d) Ability to run a tethered jailbreak on the latest ipod touch 2g, model "MC"
e) Downloads available for both windows and mac operating systems
Geohot stated that if you have already ran blackra1n RC1 tool and have had no problems or issues, there is no need to re-run with the new version.
