How To Install Twidget On iPhone 3.x.x

Twidget is basically a tweak that adds a widget to your lockscreen that displays details of your twitter account ;

eg ;

a) Your timeline, you can scroll up and down to view all your messages

b) There is a status bar to refresh or change your timeline to ;

Friends / Own / Replies / Favourites / Refresh

This app works in addition to your normal twitter client, it is not a stand alone client. When installed it will not effect any other apps you have installed. It has just been updated and is available in Cydia via the iSpazio repo.

If you want to try it follow the instructions below ;

NOTES ;

a) Your device must be jailbroken

b) Your device must be running 3.x.x firmware

c) Your device must have Winterboard installed

d) You must have wi-fi

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ;

1. Open Cydia and select ;

Search / Type in and install ;

twidget

2. Exit Cydia

3. Open twidget app icon

4. Enter your twitter login details / save

5. Exit and open Winterboard

6. Now un-check twidget, then re-check twidget, your device will now respring

7. Now your lockscreen will display your twitter timeline, enjoy.

To get the best out of this widget, try installing 20 second or 60 second lockscreen! This will extend the amount of time your lockscreen is illuminated.
