GT Theme Review

The GT Theme was just released recently into Cydia, I have tried many themes over the past months and have to say this is one of the most complete themes I have tried. Im still using it and intend to stick with it for the foreseeable future. There are many more updates to come which among other things will increase the number of included icons, the dev also includes a link to contact him with icon suggestions, and an icon template is also included for advanced users to create icons themselves, now thats service.

The theme is quite dark, its comes complete with wallpapers for springboard / lockscreen / messages etc. There are also themed sliders / text bubbles / dialer / calculator / notes and of course icons. To top it all UI Sounds are also included for things like mail and messages. The battery theme and lockscreen slider are very clean and contemporary, and system strings have also been edited to suit.

I also installed Fontswap from Cydia and GTFont to put the finishing touches to the overall look of the theme, both of these are free downloads.

Overall this theme looks awesome and runs very smoothly, I dont have any slowdown at all on my iphone 3gs.

I'd rate this theme a great 10/10.

iBox Carbon Theme

This is a simple, black theme with a carbon look finish, a nice dock, loads of custom icons, tap to unlock, a battery lock screen, black loading pages for certain apps, black status bars, and coloured signal bars.

It is available free of charge in Cydia and must be installed via winterboard.

I have installed it with five icon dock and five icon springboard, and I also installed makeitmine from cydia which is used to change your carrier and banner text.

WillDTA Theme

This is my most used theme, its colourful but simple with loads of icons etc.

Install via cydia and activate in winterboard (if wanting tap to unlock tick that as well as main theme), this comes complete with wallpaper, custom slider, custom battery, wallpapers in texts and cydia applications, and also an sbsettings theme.

To complete the theme go into cydia and install, Five icon dock, five column springboard, make it mine, and fontswap.

Make it mine app allows you to customise your carrier and banner text.

Fontswap allows you to change system text fonts, and change the font style of the battery clock.

You must try this theme.

Dinozambas Theme

This is one of my favourite themes. It comes complete with city lights video wallpaper, custom slider, custom battery, custom ipod controls, pwnapple loaders.This is downloaded in cydia then activated in winterboard.

To complete the theme I then ssh'd in the pimpin carrier logo, via cydia I also installed iZaeim wifi logo and colour signal bars which are also activated in winterboard.

To customise the system text, install iFile from cydia, this will leave an icon on the springboard, open app and change text where wanted.

To finish install slider text themes again in cydia, open winterboard and select the slider text colours, I used american colours as in picture.

Lordagsgodis Theme

Lördagsgodis us a very beautiful theme, the icons look wood look. The icons are not square like most themes that we see, this make the icons and the theme stand aside. This theme is By By Plizzo and TURN. Release thread.

Thirty Two Theme

Thirty Two – the iphone theme is one of the most clean and smooth we have seen for the iPhone. The theme look best with icons & dock icons names turned off in winterboard. This beautiful theme is done by Manic Nimrod.
