HOW TO EDIT SYSTEM STRINGS ( THE EASIEST WAY )
This allows you to edit your system text, ( eg Slide To Unlock ), to anything you like, ( eg Jailbroken ). ( See picture )
You can change as many different paths as you like but please follow the instructions as you could crash your device if you input text wrongly
NOTE :
Your device must be jailbroken and running 3.0 - 3.1 firmware
Installation Instructions ;
1. Open cydia and select ;
Search / Type in: ifile /Install /Exit cydia
2. Open ifile
3. When the app is first opened press the button in the top left hand corner until it takes you back as far as it will go
4. Now select ;
System / Library / Core services / Springboard.app / English.iproj / Springboard.strings / Edit
5. Scroll down to desired string ( eg Slide to unlock )
6. Delete the original text but only between the " " (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)
7. Type in new text of your choice ( eg Jailbroken )
8. When finished Select:
Save / Done
9. Exit ifile and restart iphone
10. Now on lock screen it will say ( eg Jailbroken )
